As individuals, we might not have control over certain things in our lives, such as our parents, background, nativity, skin colour, shape and all.
But we do have control on how we choose to react to them. Either by making the best out of them or wallowing in self-pity.
Your background should not put your back on the ground. The kind of family you find yourself should not truncate your destiny. It shouldn’t stop you from being the best you can be. You are made to make impact.
Don’t be deceived by the seemingly unfortunate situations around you. Aspire to forge ahead in spite of those situations.
You might not look it, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make significant impact. After all, most successful people being celebrated all over the world today were not in any way close to it at first. But you know what they did? They believed in themselves. They got past discouragements and forged ahead because they believed they were made for something extraordinary.
You too can make things happen. You’re unique in your our own way. Nobody is you, and nobody can be you. You’re loaded with potentials yet to be tapped. Focus on your abilities and not your disabilities.
The thoughts of your abilities makes you, while that of your disabilities crushes you. Leverage on your strengths and focus less on your weaknesses.
That which you have is just enough to catapult you to greatness. No matter how small you think your potential is, it is capable of bringing all things to you.
The person you really are is not in all the things you possess neither is it in the circumstances that surround you.
Who you truly are resides deep within you; your heart. Tap into the strengths that reside deep within you and outshine the circumstances around you. You can’t control the external but the internal is within your control, so, focus on that and the external won’t matter so much.
Your uniqueness is in the real you. Let that person show forth.
