This is a chilling revelation of how Abiose, the ex wife of one of the pastors of Mountain of Fire and Miracle Church MFM, Tunde Tolulope Ajayi of the Ajala Zonal church region of the church, Alagbado, Lagos.

Known as Abiose Comfort, the ex wife of the MFM pastor told the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response team (DSVRT), Gender based violence symposium, which held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 how she endured the domestic abuse for a total of 17 years with the hope that her clergy-hubby would change.

“Nigerians safe me from my former husband, pastor Tunde Tolulope Ajayi of Mountain of Fire & Miracle Ministries (MFM), Ajala Zonal region. He beat me up blue and black today at Adura bus stop area of Alagbado, Lagos. He stole my money, N17,000.00, phone and other valuable belongings,” she wrote on her Facebook page on September 30, 2015 at exactly 8:45pm.

Her story changed when she met Esther Ijewere Kalejaiye, an activist who has been leading the campaign against “Violence Against Women.”

Abiose said her decision to call it quit with the marriage came after could not endure the sufferings being inflicted on her by her husband. She also revealed that family members encouraged her to endure and pray for him to change while the church members insisted that she should continue to pray for him to change until she could no longer hold it.
