“If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor. If an elephant has its foot on the tail of a mouse and you say that you are neutral, the mouse will not appreciate your neutrality,”—Desmond Tutu.
Staying silent or sitting on the fence when the weak is being oppressed is a tacit approval that you support what is happening. One of the reasons why evil continue to thrive in our land is because the strong stay silent when such things happen.
Permanent neutrality is a sign of weakness and should not be condoned in anyway. Do not fold your hands when evil is being perpetrated; you have got to stand up and speak up for the weak.
