You Pay A Price To Get The Prize

priceWhat distinguishes successful people from the rest? It’s basic – calculated, doctored, engineered effort in form of a price.

It could be sleepless nights, continuous voice training, and trying things over and so on.

Achievements of any sort has got its price, it could go either ways, negatively or positively. Some people are known for their laudable and outstanding performances in various fields while some are known for their notorious and nefarious behavior, whichever way the pendulum swings, it took a while to perfect that act.

Perfection of an art comes with a price. Sportsmen, musicians, and whatever profession has got its unique price. Nothing good comes easy.

A price is the cost at which something is obtained. Life itself has got a price.

An athlete that wants to win an Olympic gold medal doesn’t just wake up one morning, pack his bags and shows up there, it doesn’t work that way. Rather, it takes him four years of tireless, consistent and engineered practice to meeting his set target. The price he has to pay – if he loves eating junks, he cuts it to zero level, if he sleeps for 10 hours, he half’s it, if he loves taking liquor, he stops it, all of this for that expected moment of glory, howbeit inconvenient, his eyes are set on ‘the prize’. If in the end achieves his aim, he’s the toast of the world, he gets the gold medal, endorsements, money, fame and all the goodies. At this point he is satisfied, knowing he paid his dues, what’s simply at play here is ROI (Return on investments), dividends of calculated hard work. It paid off because it was calculated, he didn’t just train for anything, he knew what he wanted and went for it, otherwise that would have become a classical example of effort in futility.

It is to the degree you want something, that you go the whole length to pay the price it costs.

Rounding off, a valuable piece never goes for cheap, it comes at a price, a really huge one at that.
