One of the biggest mistakes we make as human is that we keep repeating the mistakes of the past. When history continues to repeat itself in a bad way, it either shows that one is not learning from his mistakes or it is just beyond one’s control.
As the popular Nigerian adage says: “when a child falls to the ground he looks to the future, but when an adult falls to the ground, he looks back.” The adult looks back to see what the cause of his downfall was. He does that in order to avoid making similar mistake again. That is how to learn from one’s mistake and move on in life.
Falling is not a crime, but remaining rooted to the same spot where you have fallen down is unforgivable.
