Kids are vulnerable to a lot of issues. One of the reasons why people below the age of 18 can’t or are ineligible to vote in Nigeria is because they have not attained the ripe age to make concrete decisions. However, some kids are smart and can take some smart or wise decisions that will even baffle a lot of adults. This brings us to the question of the day: is it right to involve kids in marital issues between couples? In other words, is it right to disclose certain issues with kids; especially when you have a disagreement with your spouse?
Arguments between couples occur all the time, and it is up to them to find a way to settle them. However, some parents just can’t seem to find a way to leave the kids out of their arguments. They want to know what the opinions of their kids are. They want to earn their kid’s support. This could lead to a situation where a child becomes biased either for or against one of the parents. Does this make for an ideal situation in terms of bringing up a child?
