Is It Right For Hospitals To Insist On Police Report Before Treating Some Unidentified Accident Victims?
Countless number of souls have been sent to the world beyond because some hospitals have denied them urgent medical attention because there are no police reports. As a result of this, thousands of souls have been lost; men and women who would have shaped and nurtured families and nation. Some doctors have ignorantly denied their loved ones urgent medical attention because they insisted on seeing a police report. Is it right for hospitals to insist on police report before treating or attending to some unidentified accident victims?
Is there a law that forbids care and treatment to an accident victim who does not have a police report? Should a doctor or a medical personnel relegate his oath to the background if he was asked to choose between attending to a dying patient or waiting for the so-called police report? As a doctor, how do you feel when an accident or victim of a stray bullet whose life could have been saved dies in your care because of some cruel bottlenecks or laws?
Are the laws made for man or man made for the laws?
