Kids are known to be fast learners, with ability to decode a lot of things right from the first few years of their existence on earth. Their ability to grab a lot of things and mimic adults even at their tender age makes many of us wonder what kind of discussion adults should have while they are around us. While some parents or adults are conscious of this fact, some do not see it as an issue, and display a carefree attitude when discussing certain issues like sex and marital matters when these kids are around.
You are probably amazed at how a four-year old kid could freely and comfortably discuss or ask you certain questions only adults could ask; this is because he or she picked it up while listening to some adults. The question is, how risky or helpful it is to freely discuss sex and marital intimacy in the presence of our kids?
What defines what you discuss or open up on in front of your kids? Do you consider issues or topics such as sex as too volatile to them? Does a topic such as sex or marital intimacy make them vulnerable?
