Don’t Always Wait On Others To Come To You

“You can’t stay in your corner of the forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes,”—A.A. Milne.

Life is too short to sit by your corner and wait everyone else to walk up to you with opportunities; sometimes you have to make that all important move. You just have to go out there and make things happen.

While sitting at your corner, some opportunities will no doubt come your way; but they could be crumbs that drop from the table of those who go all out in search of the big pie. If you want the big pie, then you have to go out big time for it. Make your time in this world count—go all out and take all what life has in stock for you.

Need a job? Don’t just sit back wait; go all out and get yourself a job. Remember that popular African proverb? “No one stands rooted in a particular spot to watch a masquerade dance.”
