Does Marriage Really Change The Way A Man Thinks And Acts?

How many times have we been led to believe that marriage makes a man grow and change from behaving in certain ways into another? You hear people arguing that they are convinced that a man would change and be more prudent or more responsible as soon as he gets married. This is debatable according to a group of people who believe that marriage only amplifies what already exists inside. So does marriage really change the way a man thinks and acts?

If indeed it is true that marriage makes a man think and act differently, how does this happen? Is the man’s new found way of thinking related to the kind of woman he is married to or the fact that he is now expecting children and doesn’t want his children to grow learning some of his bad ways?

To an extent, this could be true considering the fact that some guys stop hanging around some old friends once they settle down. However, some could argue that marriage does more to amplify the already “bad” attitude of some guys. To such people, marriage has no influence over certain characters, but it merely amplifies it or brings it to the fore.
