The recent spates of suicides taking place across the world leave much to be desired with. More and more people are taking their lives for reasons ranging from heartbreaks to betrayal and failure to make anything meaningful out of life. A woman based in the United States recently committed suicide because her husband was caught sleeping with her mum. These are actions that have left hundreds of people broken-hearted and without their loved ones. This brings us to the topic or question of the day: can suicide ever be justified for whatever reason?
Sadly the high rate of heartbreaks taking place every day in our society won’t abate. More people are set to experience betrayals in relationships, and more may not even find it easy to achieve their goals. Does it mean more people are set to take their lives in order to escape pain? Champions don’t quit; if you want to make it in life, there are bound to be challenges and hiccups along the line as you navigate your part to the top. The truth most people don’t know is that you may never know how ‘pleasant’ your situation is until you have come across someone with a more pitiable story to tell.
Can suicide ever be justified for whatever reason?
