Most African men are so hard on their wives you would think it is a master and slave situation. I have come across a lot of women who would suddenly grow cold as soon as their husbands come into the house. Some women find it difficult to visit their friends because their husbands feel bad about it. In some cases, the woman (wife) is barred from visiting certain people because the man doesn’t feel comfortable about it. As a matter of fact, it is all about the man in Africa. The woman’s life is centred mostly on making the man happy.
This brings us to today’s question: are African men too hard on their wives? Are African men not expecting too much from their women? Are women in Africa not being unfairly treated?
Sometimes when there is an issue between the man and the woman at home, the woman gets the blame most of the time. She gets the largest share of the blame even in obvious cases where the man is at fault.
As a woman how do you feel being judged unfairly for something you had little hand in? Do you always feel like it’s a man’s world?
