The world only remembers the guy who came first in a duel or race. If you want to be remembered as a great man in your chosen field, then you have to aim for the best and to remain the best.
Sometimes, participating in a competition is not enough; you have to go in there and let the world know how much you have got in terms of talent. So pick yourself up and set a target. Aim to be among the best in whatever field you find yourself.
