Why Do Most Relationships Suffer From Power Struggle?
Ever get caught up in a power struggle and you don’t know how you got there or how to get out and get back to the loving couples you guys were initially? Don’t get it twisted, some relationships go through what is called ‘power struggle.’ Couples find it difficult to humble themselves for the sake of their relationship; resulting into constant friction and malice.
In Africa for instance, emphasis is placed on why the woman should respect and humble herself before her man or husband. This is a norm in virtually everywhere you go to in the continent.
However, the big issue here is that most relationships these days are struggling to enjoy lasting peace because everyone wants to be heard and be the boss.
While technology and civilization have all helped to reduce the gap between Africa and the rest of the world; most men still feel insecure about certain levels of exposure their partners have access to. This has led to issues that have to do with egos.
The women on the other hand, feel that they will no longer allow their men to ‘oppress’ or ‘suppress’ them; but of course, these are just surface issues because there could even be some more serious reasons.
