I’m pretty sure you’ve heard people say that I was tempted, and then I fell. Well they just told a lie.

This is the truth; you were never a victim of temptation, you just had no opportunity to express “the beast” in you. I must let you know that, you can’t be tempted with what you don’t crave, it doesn’t work that way.

You can only be tempted and drawn after your own lust. Someone that doesn’t take alcohol can’t be tempted with it, its share waste of time, but flash it to a ‘one-time drunk’, and you’ll see his reaction.

People say I can’t be bribed, wait until you get “your price”, like they say “every man has got his price”

Temptations come to expose the deep secrets of your heart, what you would not readily express, but have the tendency to.

So, once you’ve been tempted and fell for it, or almost fell, congratulations because you’ve just identified an area of weakness that needs to be worked on, and if you are not ready to work on it, then get rid of it by “yielding to it”.

“The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it.” – Oscar Wilde (1854-1900)
