Religion they say “is the opium of the people.” If there is one aspect of human life that has caused so much pain and anguish for many years; then it had to be religion. Millions have been killed in the name of religion. People are extremely passionate about what they believe in, and no wonder marriage between a Muslim and a Christian is a tall order.
Think of it this way; would you as a Bishop presiding over a very large congregation of worshippers hand your daughter over in marriage to the son of an Ifa Chief Priest? Did I hear you scream “ha!”? Or did you I hear you say “it’s not a big deal.” Well, the truth of the matter is that it is easier said than done.
