A lot of things happen in relationship that are now being taken for granted. Going through your partner’s chat messages or texts messages can sometimes be mistaken for a lack of trust on your part. Your spouse could take it that you are looking for clue, which might not go down well with him. Sometimes too, your spouse could start have this feeling that you are trying to spy on him or investigate information you have heard from someone about his or her affair with some other persons.

So what is wrong with skimming through a man or a woman’s chats? Does it give him or her a feeling that trust is lacking? Does it make you feel comfortable that your partner is trying to scoop for some private details even if you don’t have anything to hide?

For the health of your relationship, do you feel inclined to let your partner continue checking on your chat history just to convince her that you have nothing to hide? Is it normal for a woman or a man to go through chat history of her/his partner? Would you lock your chat apps just to keep them away from your partner?
