“The future rewards those who press on. I don’t have time to feel sorry for myself. I don’t have time to complain. I’m going to press on,”—Barack Obama.

The past should be left where it truly deserves to be if you really want to make some appreciable progress in life. Stop feeling sorry for yourself—it is not worth it.

There is much more to be accomplished in so short a time—so don’t waste those precious time of yours crying over spilt milk. Disappointment and letdown are all part of life—they will always rear their heads no matter how perfect the situations around you may seem.

Imbibe the spirit of Barack Obama—he moved on from his past and now has the enviable record if being the first black man to ever preside over the United States as the President. He didn’t feel sorry for himself when things stopped working out for him—he dusted his shoes and continued the long walk that has landed him where he is today—in the White House.
