How are you doing David?
Its daddy here .This is a special letter to you Ayomide my son, Wow. I don’t believe you are six years old today .Happy birthday David .Many happy returns of the day. Loads of hugs, cuddles and kisses. Daddy loves you.
You are such a big boy now. It feels like just yesterday when you came into my life. A minute ago I was celebrating the fact that you were finally walking, talking, running up and down?
How is school? How are your friends? I hope they are coming to celebrate your birthday with you? Well you will tell me all about it when next we speak on the phone and take pictures so I can see how big you are now.
I miss you so much David and I love you very much , am sorry for missing your birthday again this year but I promise to be there for your next birthday by Gods grace. Daddy is in Nigeria, busy working hard so I can buy you loads of presents.
I will buy you all the presents you want as long as you are a good boy. Hope you have been helping and taking care of your mummy.
I remember the way you used to wrap your little hands around me and say ‘I love you Dad’ and I always reply ‘I love you too ‘.I remember when we used to go to the park to play football or ride your bicycle, it used to be so much fun and am sure we will still do so much together.
No matter how hard the day was David, you always put a smile on my face anytime I see your picture which is on my phone. You are the reason I can get through the tough times; you’re my motivation for everything. I’m grateful every day of my life for having you as my son.
