Is Masturbation Right Or Wrong ?
Masturbation or “self-service” as a lot of people call it these day has been one of the most controversial topics in recent times, with a lot of people arguing in support or against it.Is it morally wrong to masturbate generally ?
Most people are especially Christians are divided over the morality of this act, with some condemning it out rightly while others have advanced based for supporting it.
People masturbate for different reasons, but while some have come out to say it goes against the doctrine of Christianity; none have actually come out with a valid document to support the argument for or against.
However, we live in a society where everyone is free to express his desire regardless of what other people think. As a Christian, has it ever occurred to you that what you are doing could be a sin against God or do you feel there is nothing wrong in it?
Can it be fair to say mastubation is okay since you are not commiting adultery or sleeping with your partner since you are not married ?
Is it okay for a married couple to masturbate ,when being intimate with each other even though they are married ?
Is it a sin to masturbate when you are not married and can’t have sex because you do not believe in sex before marriage ?
Who then is right? Is it the man who thinks there is nothing wrong in satisfying one’s intimate desire or the one who thinks it is uncalled for and a sin against the Creator of all mankind?
If masturbation is a sin, then what makes you think it is? If masturbation is not a sin, what makes you think it is not?
