Do Wedding Rings Curb Infidelity In Marriage?
Its quite interesting how some women who believe wedding rings must be worn at all times after the marriage ceremony is long over. While on the other hand, newly married men (among others) can’t wait to take their wedding bands off.
Only few married women choose to go without a wedding ring. When women have made The Big Commitment, they tend to want to show the world.
But it’s not so easy to spot the married men, many of whom refuse to wear an obvious sign to show they’re ‘taken’.
So do you think the non-ring wearers are just pretending to be single – or reluctant to face up to commitment?
I have seen and heard of how some couples have picked up arguments because their spouse refuses to go around wearing their wedding ring.
In truth, men are worse when it comes to putting on their wedding rings. A lot of men don’t use their rings especially when they leave the house or they are hanging out with their friends. Some say it is not important, but do you agree? Some men can’t even find their wedding rings anymore, and maybe only wore it a couple of times after their wedding.
Some women don’t put their rings on as well, and when asked why, they simply tell you it doesn’t really stop some men from stalking you; but could that be true?
What is the big deal about it anyways? Some say it curbs marital infidelity, but how true can that be? Do I need to put on my wedding ring just to prove to ladies out there that I am hooked already?
Do I need a piece of metal round my finger to tell you I am a decent man or woman who doesn’t mess around?
So would you start suspecting or accusing your partner of infidelity because he or she doesn’t like putting on the wedding ring?
