Age is nothing but a number goes that popular saying; but did you know that some parents are very particular about the age of their daughter’s spouses? If your daughter comes home with a man twice as old as she is or someone who is about the same age as you, would you kick against it? Can you allow your daughter to marry someone as old as you are?
Would you hold on to giving your express approval to such union? Would you deny your child the joy of being with the one she loves because of issue that has to do with age? What if the child doesn’t find happiness after taking a hard line decision about her love life? As a matter of fact, should true love be affected or influenced by age or other mundane things?
For some ladies, they don’t see anything wrong in dating a man that is twice as old or old enough to be their father; but what they won’t ever do is getting married to such a fellow.
