“I’m more interested in being good than being famous,”—Annie Leibovitz.
What is the benefit of being famous and lacking in charity? The poor and the sick in the society only seek for some love and kindness. If your fame cannot build a bridge to help people cross to the other side of their success, then of what good is it?
These days all we see around us are celebrities who want the society to show them some respect. They make more noise than showing love and care to people living in poverty. I would rather a celebrity uses his fame for the good of the society than anything else.
Are you a celebrity? You are only complete when you outdo others in the act of being good.
