One of the many things that separate couples and eventually lead to divorce is cheating or unfaithfulness. When your partner who says he/she loves you deems it necessary to use password to lock his or her phone to deny you access—then trouble could be brewing somewhere soon. Couples complain about this a lot, and people argue over it. In fact arguments over right to lock a mobile phone with a password to deny the other partner access to chat and other messages are always very tough. It has led to exchange of blows and serious verbal assaults in many places.

So the question is: are couples who lock their mobile phones with password being unfaithful? Is it right to suspect your partner of being a cheat because his or her mobile phone is always protected by password? Is it right to deny your partner access to your mobile phone by using a secret code to lock it? Is it right for you to always sniff around your wife’s or husband’s chat or sms messages? Does that mean you don’t trust him or the type of people he or she mixes with?
