As this year’s St Valentine’s Day approaches, we thought it would be nice to ask all ladies this question. As a lady can you date a man whose academic qualification is lower than yours? Can you date a man who only has school leaving certificate as qualification when you are a graduate or a Master’s Degree holder?
If your answer is yes, how do you plan or hope to bridge the gap in academic difference? Do you think your love for him will overcome all forms of pressure people might place on you anytime in the future?
For the guys out there, of course, the reverse happens most of the time where men marry or date ladies with lesser academic qualification; but it is not always the case when it has to do with the opposite sex. So as a man, can you marry or date a woman with a higher academic qualification? Won’t you feel intimidated by her achievements academically? How does it feel like when you approach a woman whose level of education is higher than yours? Have you ever been turned down or embarrassed by a woman just because she has or possesses a higher academic qualification?
