One of the tips to a successful marriage, according to marriage counsellors, is to never keep secrets away from your partner. We have been told a number of times how keeping secrets can lead to loss of confidence, especially when the other person finds out. This is most common when the other partner is involved in some kind of extra marital affairs. For the ‘sake’ of the union, the guilty partner feels he needs to keep sealed lips; which could sometimes lead to breakup in the future or some kind of issues. So is it right to share all secrets with your partner?
I mean is it right to open up on all issues that have to do with your past to your partner? When I say issues, I mean; your salary, extra marital affairs, passes made at you by the opposite sex, some secret places you have been to without his consent, how you lied to your partner, and many others.
Perhaps, we all have our reasons for keeping some secrets close to our hearts, but for those who can’t hold it; is it right to share all secrets with your partner?
