Have You Ever Felt Like Having A Showdown With Your Mother-In-Law?
Don’t get me wrong with that title—mother-in-laws are great people, and deserve all the love and affection one can give; but some are something else I must confess! Did you know that some ladies have lost their marriages to some terrible mother-in-laws?
Did you know that some ladies are about now languishing in hospitals because they got beaten black and blue by their husbands because they dared to stand up to their mother-in-laws? How frustrating some mothers can be; some just can’t be separated from their sons.
Have you been so frustrated to the point where you felt like engaging your mother-in-law in a showdown? As Africans, it is abnormal to engage such category of people in an argument. As a matter of fact, it is one of the fastest routes to anarchy and an unhappy marriage. It is a taboo in some places in Africa, and can be defined as an invitation to war.
So what happened when you could no longer tolerate her annoying and irritating attitude? Did you feel like walking out of your matrimonial home? Did you feel like asking your husband to make a choice between you and his mother?
