Why Do People Go To Many Churches In Search Of What Is Not Lost?
A lot of people move from one church to another these days, and you can’t but wonder what they really want. You see them hop from one prayer meeting to the other, going to vigils, and taking turns to see pastors. What do they really want?
Don’t get me wrong because I have nothing against going to church or serving the almighty Creator; but it beats me hollow how people have made a habit of hopping around. Your faith comes alive by the word that is preached and also from the word, at least that is what the Bible tells us; and the last time I checked, the primary responsibility of a worship centre is to feed the people with the word and also encourage you to seek the word by reading the bible .
The need to meet certain needs has always been the inspiration for people’s movement or change; but does this appeal to changing worship centre every now and then?Just amazes me when you here someone who is a baptist going to Mountain of fire church, Celestial church, even some go to Ori-oke.
Perhaps, I should also make it absolutely clear that I am not against people’s liberty to associate with any group of people they feel more comfortable with; but I am just curious to know why people go to many churches in search of what is not lost.
