When it comes to the exact paternity of a child, the best way to determine it or find out is through a test usually called Deoxyribonucleic Acid or DNA for short. This test enables parents or interested parties to determine or know exact father of a child. It is usually carried out when the man insists he wants to find out if he is the father of the child. Controversy is always the order of the day before such tests are carried out. Most women believe that calling for a DNA test not only doubts her sincerity, but also questions are fidelity towards her partner. So what happens when a test turns negative (as in when the man finds out that the child truly does not belong to him; confirming his fears?) Can you still trust your wife if the DNA result turns out negative?
Would you walk out of the marriage or simply shrug it off and move on with your life? Would you stop acting as the child’s true father and withdraw all benefits? Would you file for a divorce? Would you expose your partner to public ridicule as soon as the result has been confirmed? What would you do if you ever found yourself in such a situation?
