The other time, we at Iyandasdiary threw open a debate to find out if the social media has done more harm to us than good. Now it turns out that a woman in far away Dallas, in the United States, has raised an alarm over activities of a New York-based man for posting several images of her daughter, claiming the little girl to be his daughter.
According to Yahoo! News, the woman, Danica Patterson, woke up to a ‘living nightmare when she was sent screenshots of her daughter on Facebook — posted to a strange man’s profile.’
Ramon Figueroa claimed Patterson’s 4-year-old was his own daughter by posting the girl’s stolen pictures with frightening detail enough to scare the living daylight out of anyone.
Beneath the photos, Figueroa wrote: “Ma daughter gunna break y’all sons hearts (sic),” and “Girl version of me,” and “This is how she looks in the morning… she said daddy stop [taking pictures].
The mother of the little girl told CBS DFW: “It was my daughter! All over his page. It’s scary. That’s the only thing I can really say, it’s scary.”
